I have always been an introspective kid. My parents tell me that, as a toddler, they would often leave me alone and I would entertain myself until I peacefully fell asleep. It's no wonder I'm always coming up with new ways to communicate this now as an adult.
My father is a native Javanese-Indonesian American immigrant/non-immigrant and my mother is a Dutch-Indonesian-Vaguely Middle Eastern immigrant/non-immigrant who gave birth to three kids raised in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
I've lived in six different cities, have learned four languages (one of them is Mandarin, which I must admit, is too rusty for anything beyond may I go to the toilet?), and have traveled to over 15 countries. Yet, I am both young and smart enough to know I know absolutely nothing. But I do love to learn.
I am especially interested in how we have adopted self-learning as a part of our everyday experience, and how our technologies have only furthered the process into hyperspeed. My journey online is to create meaningful, intentional, and critical content that cuts through the noise of productivity and consumption overload. I hope you enjoy your stay in my little corner.
